Give them a face
We are committed to ensuring that every soldier buried or commemorated as missing in action at the American war cemeteries in Ardennes, Epinal, Henri-Chapelle, Lorraine, Luxembourg, and Margraten is honored with a personal memorial page. We ask for your help in this endeavor. If you have more information, photographs, or other documentation about a soldier buried in these cemeteries or listed on the Walls of the Missing, we would love to hear from you! Together, we can put a face to every name and ensure that their life stories are documented and preserved.
You can send us information using the form below. Please only send information or other documentation, such as photographs, that you own or for which you have obtained permission from the original source to add to our memorial.
Where does our search start?
Our research start with basic information: a name, where the soldier is from and the names of his family members. With this information, you can search for names in online phone books. Sometimes you also find obituaries and more information about the family. Furthermore, you can search for information in local newspapers and libraries. They often have a lot of information and are willing to help. This is also the case with local veteran associations such as The American Legion and The Veterans of Foreign Wars. Don’t forget to contact company veteran associations. You can also find basic information in our virtual memorial.
